As the Project Manager overseeing the renovation of The Mill House, a beautiful Grade II listed property located in the idyllic Cotswold countryside, I am proud to share the transformation of this early 18th-century mill residence.
Location: Pitchcombe,
Project Overview: The project entailed extensive renovation works that preserved the historical charm of Mill House while introducing modern comforts and functionality.
Scope of Work:
Kitchen Renovation:
Major structural changes were made to the kitchen, including opening up the east wall from floor to ceiling level.
Installation of full-width, double-glazed bi-folding doors that open onto a newly created Beswick stone terrace area, enhancing natural light and connectivity to the outdoors.
A complete reconfiguration of the kitchen layout featuring bespoke cabinetry from Hush Kitchens, designed to maximise both aesthetics and utility.
Comprehensive renovations of walls, ceilings, and floors throughout the property, ensuring a high standard of finish and craftsmanship.
Landscaping:
The dilapidated garden was transformed into a picturesque country garden with stunning views of the surrounding Cotswold hills.
The garden was thoughtfully divided into distinct areas, including a main lawn, a BBQ/outdoor dining area, and a wildflower garden, creating diverse spaces for relaxation and entertainment.
